Safety & Moderation
Last updated: May 16, 2026
Role Play World uses safety tools, reports, automated systems, and human moderation to protect users and keep the service safe and usable.
1. Our safety approach
We aim to reduce harassment, spam, scams, exploitation, harmful content, and behavior that disrupts the community.
Safety decisions may use user reports, automated checks, account signals, IP or device signals, moderation tools, admin review, and platform activity.
2. Moderation dashboard
Moderators use internal tools to review and manage safety issues across the platform.
This includes:
Reported posts
Reported users
Reported conversations
Pending media uploads
Moderation views (mobileIndex and index)
AI moderation usage (including nudity detection tools)
These tools help moderators act quickly and consistently.
3. Reporting
Users can report posts, accounts, conversations, and other issues through available report or support channels.
Reports should be made honestly and with enough detail for review. False, abusive, or coordinated reports may result in enforcement against the reporter.
4. What happens after a report
When a report is received, Role Play World may review:
Reported content
Account history
Related messages or metadata
Prior violations
Moderation results and safety signals
Depending on the outcome, we may:
Approve the report and remove content
Reject the report if there is not enough evidence
Take additional enforcement actions if needed
We may also continue monitoring even if no action is taken.
5. Post moderation
Moderators may take action on reported posts:
Approve report
The post is removed, the author's violation count may increase, and notifications may be sent to both the author and the reporter.
Reject report
The report is dismissed if there is not enough evidence, and the reporter may be notified.
Direct delete
Content may be removed without a report if it violates rules or creates safety risks.
6. Media moderation
Media uploads may be reviewed using automated systems and human moderation.
Media may be scanned using AI detection tools for nudity or unsafe content
Flagged media may be reviewed by moderators
Approved media may remain on the platform
Violating media may be removed and may lead to enforcement
Automated systems may make mistakes, and results may be reviewed or corrected.
7. User moderation
Moderators may take action on accounts:
Temporary bans (1 day, 3 days, 7 days)
Permanent bans
Strong bans, which may include associated IP addresses, devices, or sessions
Removal of profile media (avatar and banner)
Sending warnings through system notifications
Dismissing account reports if no violation is found
8. Chat moderation
Chats must follow the same rules as posts and profiles.
Moderators may:
Investigate reported conversations using available report data
Review message timelines and safety records
Delete conversations that violate rules
Dismiss reports if there is not enough evidence
Direct messages may support end-to-end encryption. When enabled, message content may not be fully accessible, but report data, metadata, and safety records may still be reviewed.
9. Blocking and private accounts
Blocking helps prevent unwanted contact and limits visibility between users.
Private accounts can limit who can follow and view certain profile activity. These tools reduce exposure but cannot guarantee content will not be copied or shared.
10. Account, IP, and device enforcement
Role Play World may enforce rules at the account, IP address, device, token, or session level.
This helps prevent ban evasion, spam, abuse, and repeated harmful behavior.
11. Content removal
We may remove or restrict content that violates the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
Content may also be removed if it creates safety, technical, or legal risks.
12. Bans and suspensions
Bans or suspensions may be temporary or permanent and may apply across accounts, devices, or access methods.
Attempts to bypass enforcement may lead to additional restrictions.
13. Appeals
If you believe moderation action was incorrect, you may contact support or use available appeal channels.
Include relevant details such as username, action taken, and explanation.
Appeals may not be available for severe or repeated violations.
14. Emergency situations
Role Play World is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
15. Limits of moderation
No system can prevent all harmful activity. Users should use available tools such as privacy settings, blocking, and reporting.
16. Changes
Safety practices may change as the service evolves. Continued use of Role Play World means you agree to follow the latest rules.
