The Glitchy Baddie Who Wouldn't Let Me Touch Grass

by MrTickleBonesGoon · Jun 28, 2026 · 15 readers
A straight-up unhinged, brainrot horror story about a lonely ghost girl who decides to speedrun a human transformation just to bag a random boy. She thinks it's a main character romance, but her existence is basically a corrupted save file that turns reality into a glitched-out hellscape. It's giving toxic parasocial obsession mixed with eldritch horror where she’s the ultimate clingy baddie and he's permanently locked in a nightmare cutscene. Absolute L for his social life, major W for the ghost's unhinged aura.
Chapter 8: The Final Crash (The Ending)

The neighborhood was officially cooked. Outside the front door, the entire world had dissolved into a vast, empty grey void, a low-poly wasteland because she had finally drained every last scrap of reality to sustain her physical form. She was standing in the center of the room, looking perfectly human, but her eyes were just infinite, scrolling lines of binary code. The decay reached its peak; the ceiling collapsed into a shower of corrupted textures, leaving them exposed to the nothingness of the empty server.

She turned to him, her smile wide and unhinged, finally looking "finished." But the victory was hollow. The strain of keeping the simulation running was too much—the whole world started to vibrate and strobe with blinding white light. "We’re peak, babe," she whispered, her voice finally stabilizing into something almost human, but her hand was beginning to pixelate and dissolve into dust. She didn't want him to leave, but she had consumed too much of the map to sustain their existence.

The boy realized the truth: they were both expiring. He sat on the floor, which was now just flat, featureless space, and watched as his own hands began to turn into static. He wasn't scared anymore; he was just exhausted. The "game" was crashing, and there was no backup save. He looked at her one last time, seeing a faint shimmer of the ghost she used to be before she went full-on crashout. "Are we endgame now?" she asked, her voice cracking like a corrupted audio file.

He just nodded as the final frame dropped. The walls, the void, the glitchy memories, and the two of them simply blinked out of existence. The world-server returned a fatal error, and the screen went black. No more rizz, no more horror, no more toxic lore. Just absolute silence. The ultimate L for their story, but at least the nightmare was finally uninstalled. He was finally free, even if freedom was just a void where nothingness finally touched grass.
