Episode 7
The Last Night
The horizon ran like wet ink.
The stairs disappeared two at a time behind her.
"Don't spend your whole life looking for me," Iris said.
"I won't," Callum told her — and meant it, technically, the way a man means a promise he's already planning to keep only the letter of.
She was saying something else when it happened — something small, something ordinary, maybe his name, maybe not even that.
She simply stopped existing mid-word.
The lighthouse went with her.
The second sky.
All of it.
Callum stood alone in the place where she used to be, and waited for the dream to end the way dreams always do.
It didn't.
There was simply nothing left.
He never dreamed of that place again.
Not once.
Not ever.
And somehow, the silence was worse than any nightmare could have been.
He kept dreaming.
She never came back.
