negative effects of boredom
Entry No. 1
Fourteen years ago, you made the silliest declaration.
"Kapag hindi pa ako nakapag-asawa by the age of twenty-seven, at single ka pa rin, ikaw ang pakakasalan ko."
I laughed.
"Tanga. Ang ganda-ganda mo. Imposibleng walang manligaw sa'yo."
But you were stubborn. You kept insisting, painting impossible scenarios until I finally gave in.
"Sige na. Kapag pareho pa rin tayong single, I'll marry you. I promise."
Fourteen years later, I watched you walk slowly down the red carpet. Tears glistened in your crescent-shaped eyes as you smiled at me, and I couldn't help but smile back.
Keeping my promise was easy.
Killing your past lovers was the hard part.
Still, it was worth it.
After all, forever was always meant to be ours.
