The Glitchy Baddie Who Wouldn't Let Me Touch Grass

by MrTickleBonesGoon · Jun 28, 2026 · 21 readers
A straight-up unhinged, brainrot horror story about a lonely ghost girl who decides to speedrun a human transformation just to bag a random boy. She thinks it's a main character romance, but her existence is basically a corrupted save file that turns reality into a glitched-out hellscape. It's giving toxic parasocial obsession mixed with eldritch horror where she’s the ultimate clingy baddie and he's permanently locked in a nightmare cutscene. Absolute L for his social life, major W for the ghost's unhinged aura.
Chapter 4: The Glitchy World Cup Stream

She decided they needed a "date night" to fix their sagging relationship, which was basically code for her forcing him to watch the 2026 World Cup while she messed with the stream. She hijacked the living room wall, projecting the Argentina vs. Portugal highlights directly onto the drywall. It wasn't just a screen; the game was literally bleeding into the room. Messi was running down the wing, but every time he touched the ball, the grass turned into pixelated static. Ronaldo scored a banger, and the audio distorted into a high-pitched, ear-bleeding screech that sounded like a thousand demons cheering at once.

"Look at them, babe," she whispered, her face flickering like a broken television, "they're just like us. Two legends trapped in a game they can't quit." She was obsessed, pointing at the players' hitboxes and laughing whenever a defender glitched through the ground. She forced him to root for both of them, even though their teams were on opposite sides of the bracket. Every time the ref blew the whistle, the room would shake, and the furniture would levitate as if the game's physics were collapsing.

She turned the match into a total L for his sanity. She started "betting" his memories on the game outcomes. "If Messi scores, I take your childhood memory of your first bike," she giggled, her eyes cycling through radioactive colors. The match felt like a fever dream. Ronaldo would sprint, but then he’d get stuck in a loop, repeating the same dribble animation until the boy wanted to scream. She was literally gaming the World Cup, using the players as pawns in her sick, parasocial fanfiction. He watched the screen, terrified, realizing that the players on the field looked like they were glancing out of the TV, staring directly at him, as if they knew they were just code in her glitchy, horror-coded dimension. It was the ultimate brainrot experience: watching the greatest legends of football get absolutely cooked by a girl who didn't even understand the offside rule, but knew exactly how to make a reality-warping nightmare.
