Episode 4
Another Sky Entirely
At nineteen, Iris finally said the word her grandfather never had the courage to say out loud.
Universe.
Not another country. Not another corner of his world.
Another sky completely — close enough to break his heart, different enough to prove it.
Callum fought her on it the way he fought everything he desperately wanted to be wrong about. He tested her with facts, dates, names — certain she'd know them.
She didn't. Not quite.
Wrong in ways too specific, too consistent, to be guessing.
Then one night he described something from his world in exact, casual detail — and Iris went pale.
"That hasn't happened yet," she whispered. "Not for me."
And just like that, there was nothing left to argue.
Only her. Only this.
Only the terrifying, impossible truth that she really was a universe away.
He didn't know yet that knowing the truth wouldn't be the hardest part.
Loving her with it would be.
The lighthouse waits.
